Madrigal!

A madrigal was yesterday. I was the Scottish server girl. :) My mom made me a very beautiful dress with the help of two of my sisters and a little from me. (Sewing isn't my forte...) Thank you so much Mom, Carly, and Cassie!
The trays were heavy.
But it was so worth it!!!
I had so much fun.
I was a tiny bit creeped out by looking at the boars head though...And I had to get close to it. I actually accidentally touched it's ear! It was fuzzy. Me and one of my best friends sang The Boar's Head. In front of 170 people. It was scary, I can tell you that.
Jacob got smacked on the head with a plastic sword and started to bleed.
Tori did an excellent job with her silks thing. Though it looked kind of scary!

Needing a name!

Bwuhahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Oh. Hello there.
Um...I need a name for a story.
What is a suitable name for a princess that is adventurous and mischievous?
I know you might be saying "Princesses aren't adventurous and mischievous!"
But this one is....So what do you thinking?

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."-John 3:16

Isn't it funny....

......That fleas will bite humans too?
......That Christians will take up the sword against each other?
......That people think dogs are smarter than cats?
......That people even read this blog?
......That people rebel against God?
Isn't it amazing how a person can think they are doing things right when they aren't?
Randomness!

I have a bunny....And it's name might be funny...to you at least....

Yeah! I got a rabbit!
And we haven't found out she has splayed legs yet either, like Mooshu. But that's a different story.
We got her at the Bureau County Fair. She was the calmest Polish rabbit there, so.....
Her name? Let's play a guessing game! Hey....I'm a poet and didn't even know it!
Ok. No guessing games. Her name is Mulan. Pictures coming. I promise.

The new horse on the block....

There's a new horse on the block named Zippy! And......She, well.....Likes to go past a walk. She's....just.....Zippy......
Not kidding.
The first time I rode her was like the first time in my life that I had trotted. I was all used to Quinessa. You know, not going past a walk, being stubborn......
Zippy is not like that.
Pictures coming soon!

Insane Dogs...

Why do dogs bark at everthing?
What do they bark at? The moon?
Why do they do it when you're trying to sleep?
Why do dogs slobber on you?
Why do dogs chase cats?
Why do they never learn to not chase cats and slobber on you?

I think they're insane.

What do you think?

Poll!

Hey, guys.....Long time no post!

Anyway, As you may have noticed, the poll is closed. And I need more ideas more a new one! I'd love to hear your ideas.

The most popular colors are....purple and blue! The other colors that were voted for were:
Yellow, red, and black! (Hmm....No pink, as I had expected there would be.....)

Meteor showers and shooting stars...

What's the difference between Meteors and shooting stars? Nothing! They're the same thing!

Oh, yeah, we watched shooting stars late Wednesday night.

Uh-huh. But why do people call meteors shooting stars?
Maybe because they look like stars shooting through the sky.

What do you think?

Camping trips....and horse farms?

Hehe....On Tuesday me, my dad, and Jacob and Zachary went camping! So were does the horse farm come in? My dad's crazy ideas.....

So were does the idea come out? In the pool, of all places. Not while by the campfire, or even during the long half an hour it takes to get there. In the pool. We were talking about 4H, however that came up, and the matter of horse farms came up. He asked how they "grew horses". Then he came up with the crazy idea that they planted manure. But I told him they didn't, but he didn't listen. So now he carries the crazy idea that they plant manure....But I think that he knows how they do it really. As in horses give birth to foals, they might sell them or keep them, and so on......

Nuts man.....

New post and webkinz....

Whoa! I haven't posted in a while! Sorry about that.

Well, first, Liz asked me to post the kinds of webkinz I have. They are:

'Lil Kinz horse,
Pinto,
Brown Arabian,
Clydesdale,
and an Alley Cat.

What Really Happened that night....

Imagine this night, the next day, the day the revolution began. Imagine it all.

Paul Revere rode through the night toward Lexington and Concord. He needed to be careful; regulars (Redcoats) were on the roads that night. The eighteenth of April. After an encounter with the redcoats, he galloped into Lexington. Then he went to the house where John Hancock an Samuel Adams. He warned them. There was another rider also, William Dawes. He galloped in soon after Paul Revere's going inside the house to warn the Patriot leaders.

Two riders. Fas-in-at-ing, right? See, that poem isn't historically accurate!
This will actually be a series of posts, really. So the first post is done. There will be more soone, though.

Why are schools neglecting history?

What is she talking about, You think, schools neglecting history?
Well it's true, or at least in my opinion.
Why? I was just at one of my mothers friends houses, and one of her relatives walks in. The girl is in(Or just got out of) High school. I'm in fifth going into sixth.
So I asked her when the Revolutionary war started. She had no idea.(!)
What the heck???????
Are schools neglecting teaching kids that tidbit of history? The day when our country began?
Yikes! Do schools at least teach that poem anymore? The first verse of it goes like this:

Listen my children and you shall hear
of the midnight ride of Paul revere
on the eightienth of April seventy-five
Hardly a man is still alive who remembers that famous day and year.

That does have tons of Historical errors, but it tells the date.
Signing off.

The crazy Revolutionary War freak behind this.
